Water-thinnable products have a bright future in the wet coatings industry (hydro paints). This is due to the VOC Directive (31st BImSchV), which limits the use of solvents in the paint processing industry by law. Water almost completely replaces the organic solvents in hydro paints. As a result, they are significantly more environmentally friendly than traditional products and meet the requirements of the VOC Directive.
